With Pro unlocked, tap "Custom" in the pattern picker. Set your desired inhale, hold in, exhale, and hold out durations using the sliders.

What breathing pattern should I start with?

Box Breathing (4-4-4-4) is a great starting point. It's simple, effective, and used by everyone from Navy SEALs to therapists. For sleep, try 4-7-8.
